It was February 2025 during my first trip to Nepal that I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Joyal. He served as my interpreter while preaching at a pastors’ conference, and I was immediately struck by how naturally we worked together. Having preached through interpreters many times, I was deeply moved by Pastor Joyal’s humility, the evident grace upon his life, and the clarity and power with which we were able to communicate the message. God’s presence was unmistakable that evening.
Pastor Joyal and his wife, Kranti, live in the Dhangadhi region of western Nepal. Together they raised two sons and gladly welcomed into their home two young girls whom they rescued from the sex trafficking industry. I have had the honor of meeting their family and witnessing their love, hospitality, and compassion firsthand.
In the summer of 2025, tragedy struck when their sons, Jeff and Jabez, drowned in a river while spending time with friends. The loss was unimaginable, and their family walked through a season of profound grief. Yet, by the sustaining grace of God, Pastor Joyal and Kranti have continued faithfully in the work to which the Lord has called them in their nation.
Recently, they launched the J&J Paradise School of Music and Worship, a six-week worship school established in memory of their sons. The boys had a vision of creating a place where people could be trained and equipped for music and worship ministry. My pastor and I were invited to Nepal to minister alongside Pastor Joyal and Kranti during the initial launching of the school. They had about thirty-five students from various regions and cities. It truly was an honor to serve at the school.
It is a privilege for Night & Day Global to partner with and support these faithful servants as they continue bringing the gospel to unreached regions of Nepal.
We invite you to join us in praying for Pastor Joyal, Kranti, their family, and their ministry as they serve the Lord with steadfast devotion.
